Welcome to the Central Florida Yacht Club!

The Central Florida Yacht Club is a collection of like-minded sailors from all walks of life sharing an avid interest in exploring all that Florida has to offer the trailer sailor. We believe that we are fortunate to have this kind of natural diversity, from the Atlantic and Gulf coasts, to the Upper, Middle and Lowers Keys and all the lakes and rivers in between. And we plan to take advantage of it!

Centrally located in Orlando, the CFYC meets twice monthly to plan day, weekend, long weekend and week-long sails.

Clemen's Cup

Once a year we host the Clemen's Cup Classic Regatta on Lake Harris in Lake County, just to show off our racing technique (Or tremendous lack thereof). It's a unique race in the respect that contestants sail a course across the lake on Saturday, where the club gives out over $500.00 in nautical gifts, free beer and soda, with BBQ available for a nominal fee. Sunday morning, after a free continental breakfast, or left-over beer, your choice, everyone races back across the lake, where the awards ceremony takes place. It's a great time. The bottom line is, if you can overnight on your boat, and like to explore new sailing locations (and restaurants!) with other fun loving sailors while having the support of a club, the CFYC is for you. And you probably have a few favorite sailing locations to share with us.

Annual dues are a paltry $30.00 a year, and include our monthly newsletter, "Scuttlebutt".
