Date: March 12 -13, 2011 (Saturday, Sunday)
Location: Lake Harris - Southeast of Leesburg, Florida. The start and finish will be at Hickory Point off of Highway 19 just north of the bridge.
Course: Exact course will be set and posted at the skippers meeting.

• Saturday - Long Course: Distance race around Lake Harris.  Course will be laid out based on wind speed and direction.
• Sunday - Short Course: Standard triangle course (ABCAC finish)

Classes to Race:  Only those boats completing an official Registration Form will be allowed to compete. Classes will be posted by the registration table using the most recently published Portsmouth numbers. Boats without published Portsmouth numbers will have them calculated by the formulas included in the racing rules of sailing 2005-2008. Classes with minimal number of boats may be grouped together to facilitate starting, but will be scored separately. 
Safety Requirements: Each competitor is responsible for his or her own safety. Regatta participants are encouraged to always wear their personal flotation device. Every boat shall carry life-saving and safety equipment conforming to current Federal and State of Florida regulations. Boats not property equipped can be disqualified from the race. The Race Committee may, in conditions it deems hazardous, require a contestant to accept assistance. A boat retiring shall notify the Race Committee boat before leaving the racing area or, if not possible, IMMEDIATELY after arriving ashore, shall notify any Regatta Official. No person on board shall leave their boat, unless ill or injured or to help a person or vessel in danger.

Other Provisions:
•    Racing rules will be posted by the registration table and will be provided with registration.
•    The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012, as published by the ISAF and the Notice of Race except as modified by these sailing instructions.
•    Races will be sailed under the management of the Central Florida Yacht Club Committee.
•    Notices of changes in the sailing instructions, official starting times, protest hearings, Announcements and other information will be posted on the Official Regatta Notice Board located at the Boat Ramp. Posting of such notices shall be deemed notification to all competitors.
•    Skippers and crew are required to comply with park rules while in the park and docked at Hickory Point.  

Awards:     Trophies will be awarded 3 deep and the Clemens cup trophy will be awarded to the club with the lowest overall score of all club participants.

Registration Fee:   $30 Advanced Entry Fee per boat, $35 the day of Race.
$14 Dinner Ticket (each)
